Job Description Summary The Mathematics and Physics Department
of the University of La Verne invites applications for a
tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics beginning Fall
2024. Overview of the Department The Mathematics and Physics
Department currently has 5 full-time mathematics faculty members,
and approximately 40 mathematics majors and 10 minors. The current
faculty members research in areas of applied mathematics and
mathematics education. Overview of the Institution The University

activities. Minimum Qualifications Applicants are expected to have
completed a Ph.D. or comparable terminal degree in mathematics
education, statistics, mathematics, or a related field by August
15, 2024. Preferred Qualifications The university supports
