Health and Human Services Department: Speech-Language Pathology The
Department of Speech-Language Pathology at California State
University San Marcos seeks a part time Clinic Placement
Coordinator. The Clinic Placement Coordinator plays a critical role
in supporting the clinical education of graduate students enrolled
in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (M.S. SLP)
program. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee
and facilitate high-quality external clinical placements that align
with program goals, accreditation requirements, and student
learning outcomes. Minimum qualifications: Masters degree in
Science Speech-Language Pathology. Experience as a student or
employee in a graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology.
Working knowledge of clinical education requirements for M.S. SLP
programs, including accreditation and licensure standards.
Familiarity with the Southern California region , including San
Diego, Riverside, Orange, and Los Angeles counties. Strong
organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple
placements, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously. Excellent
written and verbal communication skills, particularly in
professional correspondence with clinical partners. Ability to
build and maintain effective working relationships with faculty,
students, and external clinical partners. Demonstrated attention to
detail and commitment to compliance and documentation. Experience
in using technology to streamline processes and improve outcomes.
Experience in advising, mentoring or supporting students with
resources that promote academic success. Per the California State
University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited

information systems or clinical tracking software. Ability to work
independently while collaborating closely with faculty and program

and, as applicable, service. Salary commensurate with degree level
and experience Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per
full-time month The salary schedule information for the Lecturer –
Academic Year Classification is available based on the following
ranges: CSU Classification Salary Range Lecturer A - AY: $5,507 -
$6,677 per full-time month The anticipated hiring range is
generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range,

Requirements: Applicants will be required to disclose whether they
