Summary: The intention of our services is to include people in Los
Angeles County who have not been able to get the needed help in
terms of Housing, Mental Health, and reliable linkages to community
resources to help minimize recidivism. The Clinical Manager assists
with overseeing the day-to-day clinical program needs. The
position’s responsibilities include guiding the strategic,
administrative, and operational activities of the Office of
Diversion and Reentry (ODR). Responsibilities include: Essential
Duties: Function as a liaison between Amity and the Office of
Diversion and Reentry to ensure reduction of system-level barriers,
implementation of clinical strategies and interventions, and align
contract and scope of work with Amity Foundations' integrated
services approach. Works with the Clinical Director in managing the
clinical supervisor team. Provide direct clinical supervision and
support to case managers and their clients. Provide and manage
clinical client crisis through interventions with clients and their
treatment team, which includes mental health providers, probation
officers, housing case managers, and Amity case managers. Develop
and provide in-service clinical training and information to staff,
assuring that it meets licensure standards and clinical needs.
Consult with clients, case managers, Project Directors, and
ODR/HFH, when clinical concerns interface with a client's inability
to pay for additional MH services connected to PSH. Inform the
Project Director and Clinical Director in a timely manner of all
relevant political, financial, clinical, and liability issues and
make recommendations for any changes in procedures. Provide
consultation and support to staff as needed including being
available for case managers to debrief about difficult situations.
Inform Clinical Director if reports involve alleged maltreatment by
staff, students, or volunteers. Assisting to coordinate the best
effective services on a collaborative level. Review all incident
reports. Consider actions taken and implement changes to avoid
similar incidents in the future. Review all reports of suspected
abuse or neglect of vulnerable adults or minors and assure that
appropriate actions are enforced Provide back - up clinical care to
clients when assigned case managers are unavailable. Plan and
schedule case manager workload assignments, adjust project
priorities, and prepare schedules for work completion. Provide
consultation about clinical and administrative issues to other
resources as requested. Share a regular rotation providing
after-hours on-call supervision of program-wide clinical services.
Participate in internal and external committees and management team
meetings. Other duties as assigned. Processes program applications
and submits referrals via CHAMP database. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: Required: A Master’s Degree in Behavioral
Science or Social Work or a related field. VALID licenses; Licensed
Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist (LMFT). Supervisory experience, experience in leadership,
and development of a team. Ability to prioritize tasks and compete
for multiple deadlines. Open-minded with a strong desire to
collaborate in a community-driven environment. Preferred:
Bilingual, fluent Spanish/English oral and written skills are
highly desirable. Skills/Abilities: CHAMP, Microsoft office tools

$90,000 - $95,000 a year
