Position : Biochemist Location : San Diego, CA Duration : 12 Months contract Total Hours/week : 40.00 1 st Shift Description: The biochemist I will work independently, performing all laboratory multitask functions that involve in Conjugation. The person directly reports to the immediate supervisor, assisting him/her with the day to day laboratory operations. The position is responsible for completing simple step conjugations in addition to mainly assigned conjugations with good quality and yield. The position is expected to properly follow SOPs/Working Instructions while working on the assignments. In addition, the position is responsible for completing their individual conjugation training plan. The position works closely with the supervisor to ensure that weekly assignments are done properly before due dates. This position typically requires BS degree at a 4 year program in science or equivalent combination of related education and experience. 0-2 years’ experience in a biotech/science manufacturing environment. Have some working knowledge in the science disciplines and lab equipment. Technical skills include pipetting, dilution, chromatograph and optical density measurement.
