Summary
The BA role requires highly developed competencies across both disciplines which require education and experience across both to execute well. This role will be involved in multiple work-streams and managing projects throughout the lifecycle. This position will require building relationships with teams and vendors, business unit project managers. Mandatory requirements include good communication, collaboration, influencing, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities

• Experience in delivering a variety of IT and Business Change projects is essential.
• Experience in delivering a variety of IT systems / software / applications projects is essential.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills is essential.
• Extensive experience in liaising with 3rdparty vendors.
• Responsible working with the Manger to analyze project requests and document scoping materials.
• Responsible for the creation of the project charter(s).
• Responsible assisting the Program Manager with managing small sized projects from start to finish.
• Responsible for various program and project documentation where appropriate.
• Strictly adhere to Project Management Methodology and reporting requirements, including project plans, agendas, meeting minutes, risk/issue logs, status reporting, and any other required project deliverables.
• Act as a change agent by anticipating technology opportunities, proposing viable solutions, and enabling process/technical innovation. Qualifications
  • B.S./B.A. degree in relevant field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 7+ years' work experience in business analysis role using MS Word, MS Project or similar software.
  • Experience working as a BA as well as understanding Project Management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrable experience working and delivering large business projects and programs.
  • Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from Executive sponsors, third parties, team members, stakeholders and peers.
  • PMP Certification - nice to have.
  • Methodology Experience: Waterfall and Agile experience.
  • Experience as part of a project teams or leading through requirements analysis with proven ability to identify scope, build an effective plan, and execute to completion.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiences.
  • Flexibility to collaborate and work with teams with diverse backgrounds, business objectives, and time zones constraints.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize critical path activities to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ability to effectively present ideas and communicate with leadership.
  • Appropriate sense of urgency and commitment for critical deliverables.
  • Foundational understanding of application and infrastructure technologies (compute, storage, network, database, web, integration, virtualization, cloud hosting, etc.).
  • Foundational understanding of corporate building construction and facilities operations.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience advising and interfacing with senior executives on technology related issues.
  • Ability to synthesize and simplify complex concepts/requirements to the team and stakeholders and tie back to business objectives.
  • Ability and desire to continually learn about new technologies, project management methodologies and adapt to ever-changing business and industry needs.
  • Results- and goal-oriented, with initiative to work until job is complete.
