Work scheduled during the branch hours. The Remote Home Lending Advisor will be working during branch hours 8:30-5:30 Monday-Friday and Saturday rotations as needed/scheduled will be 8:30-3pm. The Home Lending Advisor is going to be supporting approximately 7 branches (15-20 bankers) that will be their main driving source of business. The banker is responsible for cultivating relationships and presenting leads to the Home Lending Advisor. The home Lending advisor would work directly with the branch banker and the customer to handle the Mortgage needs. It would be most helpful for the Loan Originator to have experience working in or with a branch team previously. The Home Lending Advisor will have their primary source of business generated via the branch. If they have capacity they are also able to utilize their own referral sources such as realtors on their own as well.This position requires someone who can be very comfortable toggling in different systems and using technology. In addition, their calls will be monitored/recorded. They also must have the opportunity to be self-sufficient and manage their scheduled time working remotely. We are really interested in finding candidates with language skills (any language skills) such as Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, German. It is a skillset we can always utilize within our branches so if they have any language skills it is a plus.What You Need for this Position* Extensive mortgage sales experience required, success originating all home lending products (purchase, refinance, home equity, and affordable)* Deep understanding of investor products and guidelines that allow you to restructure a mortgage application with alternative products/terms when a clients first choice is not feasible* Extremely detail oriented* Understanding of Consumer Bank branch products, roles, and activities* Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service and consultative selling* Ability to develop and maintain a strong partnership with assigned bank branches to promote lead referrals and loan originations* Ability to function well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships* Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)* Bachelors degree or equivalent preferredWhat's In It for YouWe offer an excellent salary and benefits package, including health, dental, vision insurance and a 401 (k) program.
