FULL DESCRIPTION : The selected candidate will be responsible for: Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other filings Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses & experts Argue motions at hearings and attend case management conferences Communicate with clients regarding litigation strategy and case status Negotiate settlements and manage cases from inception to resolution Manage all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motions and trial preparation The selected candidate will also possess: 3-10 years of civil litigation experience License to practice law in California A juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school Strong analytical, research, and writing skills Excellent communication, negotiation and client-relations skills Experience representing clients in all stages of pre-trial litigation Experience preparing pleadings/motions and making court appearances Experience drafting and responding to discovery, including depositions Experience with trial preparation is a plus Family Law experience is a plus Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Legal research experience through Westlaw/Lexis Must be team-player, motivated, organized and hardworking Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $240,000.00/year For immediate and confidential consideration, please email your resume to yorozco @talentzok.com or call 858.496.7758.
