Job Description Job Description Role Overview We are seeking an accomplished Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead and grow a residential construction company specializing in high-end remodels and luxury custom homes. The ideal candidate has deep experience running a construction business, overseeing complex 5-10 million dollar projects, and building a culture of quality, accountability, and outstanding client experience. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Growth Define and execute the company's vision, long-term strategy, and annual business plans for luxury residential remodeling and new home construction. Identify and evaluate growth opportunities, new markets, and strategic partnerships with architects, designers, developers, and high-net-worth clients. Drive revenue growth, profitability, and brand positioning in the luxury residential segment while maintaining uncompromising standards of quality and service. Business & Financial Management Oversee P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the company, ensuring healthy margins on 5-10M projects and multi-project portfolios. Establish and monitor KPIs across operations, finance, sales, and customer satisfaction; adjust strategy based on performance and market conditions. Approve major contracts, pricing strategies, bids, and capital expenditures; ensure sound risk management and contractual compliance. Operations & Project Delivery Provide executive oversight of all projects from preconstruction through handover, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and exceptional workmanship. Ensure robust systems for estimating, scheduling, procurement, and project controls suitable for complex 5-10M luxury home and major remodel projects. Champion process improvement, technology adoption, and standard operating procedures to drive consistency, predictability, and scalability. Team Leadership & Culture Lead, mentor, and develop the senior leadership team (operations, finance, preconstruction, sales/marketing, HR), ensuring alignment and accountability. Build a high-performance culture rooted in safety, craftsmanship, integrity, and client-centric service. Attract, retain, and grow top talent in project management, field supervision, and support functions. Client, Stakeholder & Market Presence Serve as the primary executive face of the company with key clients, architects, designers, and strategic partners in the luxury residential space. Uphold the company's reputation for honesty, transparency, and white-glove service throughout the project lifecycle and aftercare. Represent the company at industry events, associations, and community engagements to strengthen brand awareness and pipeline. Qualifications 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in residential construction , with significant exposure to high-end remodeling and luxury custom homes. Proven track record overseeing individual projects in the USD 5-10M range and managing a portfolio of multi-million-dollar work. Prior experience as CEO, President, Division President, COO, or equivalent senior role within a construction or homebuilding organization. Strong understanding of construction contracts, building codes, permitting, design coordination, estimating, and scheduling for complex residential projects. Demonstrated success managing P&L, driving profitable growth, and implementing strategic initiatives. Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with clients, partners, and internal teams. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.
