Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years preferred License: Valid state license required in hand when applying Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification - IV infusion pumps proficiency - Care and maintenance of PICC lines - Knowledge in infection prevention - Must accept first-time travelers - Knowledge and access to NHSN recognition of communicable disease symptoms and appropriate transmission Description: The role involves providing nursing care in the radiology specialty. A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant field is preferred. Candidates must be able to manage antihypertensives and operate IV infusion pumps. Care and maintenance of PICC lines are essential responsibilities. Infection prevention measures must be adhered to. Nurses will be expected to display knowledge of communicable disease symptoms and their transmission. Charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in nuclear medicine is a plus. Nurses should have experience with adult acute care. The position requires skills in airway assessment and managing medication administration. Monitoring of conscious sedation and providing informed consent are critical functions.
