California, 90404! Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 -
19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid CA
License in hand required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced,
BLS, FHM, NRP, NCC EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Must-Have: -
Ability to work in an OR suite during C-sections - Experience with
fetal heart monitoring and high-risk pregnancy monitoring -
Experience in labor and delivery, including circulating for
C-sections and assisting with vaginal deliveries Description: The
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for patients
in labor and delivery settings. This position requires floating to
postpartum if needed. The nurse will monitor fetal heart rates and
high-risk pregnancies. The role includes assisting with both
C-sections and vaginal deliveries. The nurse will also participate
in postpartum couplet care when sufficient perinatal RNs are not
available. Candidates should be comfortable performing sterile
vaginal exams and supporting laboring patients through various
stages of delivery. The unit handles a significant number of
deliveries each month and includes antepartum rooms and triage
areas. Safety and privacy are paramount due to the patient
demographic served. Travelers must be open to accommodating block
scheduling as per management discretion. All nurses are expected to
float to required units when necessary. Candidates should be
prepared to work scheduled weekends and specified holidays.
References from supervisory roles within the last three years are
