Full-Time: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Mandatory

Cardiac Imaging Specialists, Inc. is a mobile nuclear medicine
company based in southern Califoirnia which specializes in
diagnostic imaging in nuclear Cardiology. This Job Is Ideal for

Schedule: 6-10 hour shift depending on patient volume and travel
time to medical offices Patient volume varying from 4 to 14
patients Experience: Medical Imaging: 1 year (Preferred) but not
mandatory. New graduates welcome. Paid on the job training
License/Certification: Current NMTCB or AART Certification
(Required) and.. AHA BLS certification Responsabilities: Perform
functional and/or perfusion rest and stress cardiac studies,
including processing images for physician review. Maintain all
federal, state, local and regulatory requirements. Demonstrate a
strong commitment to providing consistent, excellent customer
service. Perform daily quality control checks and calibrations on
camera and complete required DOT/NRC/State documentation. Follow
radiation safety policy and NRC/State guidelines for handling of
radioactive pharmaceuticals, including but not limited to
conducting daily surveys of hot lab, exam room, camera, and
personnel. Ability to drive distances between 30-100 miles in a
high rise van from a base office to cardioligist's offices
throughout southern California. Able to work in a team enviroment
with a paramedic/stress physiologist Able to move mobile imaging
equipment up to 600 lbs. CIS uses Digirad XPO dual head cameras.
Maintain a clean driving record Customer service oriented and
strive for excellent image quality Employment Type: Full Time
