Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Senior Turbine Design Engineer
Orange County, CA (On-Site) About the job This role supports the
development of propulsion systems for the next generation of
industrial and defense applications. The focus is on designing for
cost, agility, and scale by combining advanced automation,
precision manufacturing, and rapid iteration to move from prototype
to production at exceptional speed. Intelligent manufacturing is
engineering at scale. Engineers operate across the full stack—from
concept and simulation to process code and machine
execution—ensuring designs are manufacturable and scalable from day
one. The Senior Design Engineer will take cradle-to-grave ownership
of small jet turbine engines supporting Group 1–3 UAV programs. The
objective is to deliver energy-dense designs that meet defined
performance and program inputs. This position requires an
experienced turbomachinery designer capable of owning clean-sheet
engine designs through production, supporting test rig development,
