Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Programmer Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with a strong background in CNC programming and problem-solving to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing programs for various CNC machines to ensure high-quality production. Responsibilities Create and optimize programs for various CNC machines. Set up and run CNC and Screw Machines. Read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions. Operate multiple and varying CNC machines simultaneously, including Swiss Turn machines. Operate manual machine tools to cut, drill, shape, and finish quality products independently. Calculate dimensions and tolerances using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauge, and countersink. Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on materials or work-pieces as guides for subsequent machining. Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut. Input or edit computerized machine control media according to established guidelines and procedures. Set up tooling and production stock using a wide variety of conventional and CNC machining equipment. Essential Skills Strong background in CNC programming. Knowledge of Fanuc Controls and live tooling. Experience with Siemens control is a plus. Ability to pull own tooling as required by each job. Ability to work in Metric and Standard dimensioning. Attention to detail. Reliability and dependability. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Screw Machine and Swiss Turn machines. Proficiency in calculating dimensions and tolerances. Ability to work with both ferrous and non-ferrous metals and their alloys. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Elsinore, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00/hr.
