Job Description:
A company is looking for a Contract Writer for Opinion and
Commentary.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis on assigned topics and events
Report and comment on current events, U.S. politics, and relevant
topics
Assemble evidence to support claims made in articles and apply
feedback from the editorial team
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Keen interest in and understanding of current events, especially
national politics
Ability to meet deadlines and write on weekends
Experience with WordPress or another CMS is a plus
Experience writing for a print or online news outlet is a plus
